A fine quality mirror in lovely condition, with the sweetest little drawers in the base - the smallest one almost fit in your hand! The mirror dates to the mid 18th century, late George II or early George III.
Condition: Very good condition with some surface wear in accordance with age. The most obvious area of wear is on the gilded border, which has lost quite a lot of the gilding, though attractively so. The mirror plate has been replaced at some time and has a few small blemishes. The handles and escutcheon are original. All the drawers open and close smoothly. The large drawer has its original lock but no key. The mirror can be tilted to the required angle and stays in place.
Dimensions:
Width - 41.5cm
Death - 18.5cm
Height - 74cm
