These bottles were made for storing and transporting drink. Their organic handmade shapes and rich colours make them great decorative objects that work in either traditional or contemporary settings, but look especially lovely with period oak furniture.
This example is a bit of a tale of two halves - one side is a rich golden brown colour and the other is a paler biscuit colour and more matte in its finish. It has an incised line detail around the body on a level with the handle, and has an incised ‘3’ sitting across this line.
Condition: This is in good condition with surface wear and minor blemishes in accordance with age, but no chips of cracks.
Dimensions: 31cm tall and 19.5cm in diameter.
