This attractive and colourful art deco era vase has a hand-painted floral design showing several different types of flower. The hole for the lamp cable is glazed over which indicates it was drilled before the pot was fired, so was obviously intended to be a lamp base from the outset. There is no sign that it has ever been used as a lamp however, and it makes an attractive vase (though obviously it won’t hold water due to the hole!)
