These decorative chairs are made from oak and are very solid. They make a great design feature, in a hallway or either side of a fireplace maybe, but are fully useable and are actually very comfortable to sit in. We believe they date from the 1950’s, and are a perfect pair in terms of both design and colour.
Condition: Both chairs have some minor surface wear, but nothing of note - please see the photos. One chair has a slightly rough edge to one of the arm rests where it joins the leg - this may be a result of damage in the past, but I’m not sure. They are both good and solid with no wobbles.
