I really like this vase and wish I could find out who made it - I haven’t seen anything else quite like it! The material is very fine which gives the piece a feeling of lightness, both physically and in effect. The body has a dry unglazed finish, then the rim steps out slightly and is smooth with painted decoration - the pattern manages to be curvaceous and angular all at once.

Condition: Very good condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. There are some areas on the body that have faint dirt smudges on, and I’m not sure if there is some discolouration from dirt to the decoration on the rim, or if that is just how it is, but am reluctant to try cleaning it.

Dimensions:

Height - 23cm

Width - 24.2cm
