All three plates have a thick wire attached for mounting them on the wall. The wires have obviously been there for a long time and don’t seem to be causing damage to the glaze, and as I think they might be tricky to remove without risking damage to the plates we’ve decided to leave them place. The plates can therefore easily be wall mounted, or as the wires are not obtrusive they can stand on a shelf of dresser just as well.

Condition: All three plates have a crack running from the edge towards the centre, which appear to be stable (I am not sure if the hanging wires are helping to held the cracks together a bit) and have various chips to the glaze around the rim, as is common with Delft ware. One plate has more wear to the edges than the other two.

Dimensions:

Diameter - 30cm approximately (very slight variation in diameter between the three plates)

Depth - 6cm
