I am unsure of when this dates from, but think it is most likely the early 20th century.
Condition: The decoration and finish is worn and faded, but attractively so. There are a few small repairs to both the barrel and the lid, but nothing obvious. There is a small amount of movement between some of the wooden staves, but nothing excessive. It is fully useable as either a decorative piece of furniture or for storage.
